Based in Palmerston North in the lower North Island of New Zealand Palmerston North Caravan Club holds caravan rallies monthly usually on the 3rd weekend of each month.
Rallies are usually centred around the Manawatu region but the club often travels further.

Most of our caravan rallies are non-power although we do use powered sites from time to time. We always try to keep the cost down and often stay at community halls and schools. The weekend accomodation cost is often very low.
Activities vary at each caravan rally. There is always good social time, a great time to catch up with friends. It's almost like a big extended family. Often we have relaxed evening activities organised but more often than not we just chill out. All rallies give families the opportunity to get away from the pressures of home and relax.
While many members have caravans quite a few have motor homes. Our club members come from Paraparaumu through to Hawkes Bay across most age groups..
Recently the club has held rallies at Totara Reserve, Otaki, Camp Kilsby, Sanson and Koitiata (Turakina Beach), where we enjoyed a lazy and unsuccessful fishing weekend. Other rallies in the past have include the Wairarapa Balloon Festival.
Anyone interested in caravanning on a regular basis and who would like to join the club at one of our rallies is invited to get in touch with the club. Contact can be made through this website. Contact Us
